Conversational Spanish Sessions in Edinburgh

Our friendly conversational Spanish sessions are designed for adults who want to feel more comfortable and confident actually speaking Spanish. Meeting on Monday mornings and early afternoons in Portobello, our very small groups offer a supportive, relaxed environment where you can practise without the pressure of a traditional classroom.
Choose from elementary or intermediate level sessions and develop your Spanish through real conversation, with guidance and support from an experienced native Spanish teacher. Rather than working through grammar exercises, we focus on speaking and communication, exploring vocabulary and grammar naturally as they come up.
Perfect if you regularly travel to Spain, have a property there, want to reconnect with your Spanish, or simply love the language and culture and would like to meet others over a coffee.

I have been learning Spanish with Eugenia for just a couple of months. In those few sessions, she helped me focus on what I needed to learn for my family holiday to Mallorca. Could not recommend this more for all your Spanish learning, development and support for exams. We absolutely loved our classes with Get Talking Spanish - they made learning Spanish fun and educational for our little ones at all age levels. Our baby Milo loved the singing classes every single Saturday... and then Get Talking Spanish helped us get our children ready for our move to Madrid with customisable, one-on-one sessions that we perfect for our 8 and 6 year olds! Eugenia, Cristina and Laura made learning exceptionally fun! So fun that we took the classes as adults too, which were great because they were tailormade for adult scenarios and vocabulary. Intensive Pre-holiday Refresher
The Pre-holiday refresher course was perfect for someone who had learned the basics but not spoken Spanish for a while. The course was well thought out with useful tips and guides but the best thing was just being able to have a chat in Spanish! Highly recommended and I would be happy to book further classes/refresher courses

We absolutely love attending our Get Talking Spanish class on a Saturday morning at Portobello. We have been attending for just over a year with our 2.5 year old and her understanding and vocabulary has really expanded. Eugenia puts so much effort into each class and the kids enjoy the light playful approach to learning. She is amazing with the kids, so patient and attentive to each of their needs. The adults also have a great time and I too am learning new words! We could not recommend more.

The Spanish classes are so much fun. My 3 year old has grown in confidence speaking in Spanish in such a short time. Fun songs, activities and stories all appropriate for their age. Parents get to enjoy a coffee and get to learn along with the children. We love a Saturday morning!
Wonderful Spanish classes for toddlers. Eugenia is a lot of fun and our 2 year old loves it. Would highly recommend.
