Spanish lessons for children 5-12
Spanish group classes for children between 5 and 12 years of age in Edinburgh. We welcome children with or without previous knowledge of Spanish.
Spanish classes for primary school children are held every Friday after school during term time in Portobello.
Children are divided into three different groups depending on age, existing knowledge of Spanish and literacy skills.
Sessions are delivered by a qualified and experienced native Spanish teacher with full GTCS registration.

Conversational Spanish
Join our conversational Spanish sessions in Edinburgh and get talking from day one
Looking to brush up your Spanish skills in a fun and relaxed setting? Whether you have an elementary, pre-intermediate or intermediate level, join our small group conversational Spanish sessions in Edinburgh, held at a cozy local pub. With a maximum of four participants, these 1.5-hour sessions are designed to provide a friendly, supportive environment where you can confidently practice your Spanish, meet new people, and enjoy a shared passion for the language. We tailor each session to your interests and requests whenever possible, ensuring engaging and meaningful practice. Spaces fill up quickly so advance booking is essential.

Bespoke 1:1 lessons

Practical Spanish for Travel
Eugenia is a natural teacher. It was clear that she had made a lot of effort to prepare for each lesson, using a variety of materials. The focus was on the Spanish we are likely to use if we travel. She also asked if there was anything we wanted to learn and created lessons based upon our suggestions. We absolutely loved our classes with Get Talking Spanish - they made learning Spanish fun and educational for our little ones at all age levels. Our baby Milo loved the singing classes every single Saturday... and then Get Talking Spanish helped us get our children ready for our move to Madrid with customisable, one-on-one sessions that we perfect for our 8 and 6 year olds! Intensive Pre-holiday Refresher
The Pre-holiday refresher course was perfect for someone who had learned the basics but not spoken Spanish for a while. The course was well thought out with useful tips and guides but the best thing was just being able to have a chat in Spanish! The Spanish classes are so much fun. My 3 year old has grown in confidence speaking in Spanish in such a short time. Fun songs, activities and stories all appropriate for their age. Parents get to enjoy a coffee and get to learn along with the children. We love a Saturday morning!
